Green Gleam Project: recycle, reuse, reduce, RECREATE

Posted: August 10, 2010 in Green Gleam Project 8/4/10 - 8/11/10

Here are some interesting bits of art that recycle trash, scrap material, and other oddities…

A purse made of woven shopping bags from Limited Too (now known as Justice) clothing store.

A really cool notebook cover made by using a recycled burlap sack that originally held coffee.

A newspaper mache bracelet, very interesting ^_^

This bracelet was made using beads, safety pins, and elastic cord.

Cuffs made from vinyl albums, very cool~

Earrings made from soda can tabs and other bits of “useless” metal. I would buy these ^_^

Rose made from different kinds of soda cans. Really pretty!

Cute envelopes made from “educational and old” newspapers.

I myself have made lots of paperclip jewelry using pliers and beads. Why settle for the environmental friendly art that’s more expensive than regular jewelry and crafts when you can make your own?
